Hey there! I’m Greg, a wedding photographer in Lexington, KY!
This work has been my passion for over 30 years, including the 20 years I served as a military photojournalist, embedded with units, in command centers, on deployment, learning to find the real story in any room before the room knew it was being read. That career trained me to anticipate moments a fraction of a second before they happen, to move quietly enough that the people I'm photographing forget I'm there, and to stay calm when everything around me is anything but.
Those aren't skills you pick up shooting styled shoots on a Saturday afternoon. They're what 20 years of working under pressure, in unfamiliar environments, with people who aren't performing for a camera, actually builds.
I bring that same instinct to your wedding day. Not to create moments — but to catch the ones already happening. The laugh your best friend didn't know she was about to have. Photographing Couples Across Central Kentucky
I work primarily in Lexington and the surrounding Bluegrass region — Danville, Frankfort, Nicholasville, Georgetown, and beyond. I've photographed weddings at places like Warrenwood Manor, Fasig-Tipton, Springhouse Gardens, the Campbell House, Liberty Hall in Frankfort, and on private horse farms across Central Kentucky. Each venue has its own character, its own light, its own way of holding a day like yours.
