You don't have to perform.
Real moments are better anyway.
My Photography Approach
Your day. Your story. I’m here to bear witness.
Because of my background in photojournalism, my work is rooted in storytelling. Some people think being a photojournalist means being a "fly on the wall," but that's not the case at all. It's kind of hard to miss the guy with two cameras! In fact, being a good photojournalist – and a good wedding photographer – means getting people comfortable with your presence even when you're physically very close. So, unless I'm getting a quick scene setting photo of the whole room, you won't see me in the back trying to be a "fly on the wall." I work hard to get everyone comfortable with my presence, almost like an adopted member of the wedding party. That way, I can capture all the love, laughter, and energy of the day as it unfolds naturally.
I do everything in my power to make the experience of being photographed as comfortable and natural as possible. I shoot with as little equipment as I possibly can. I make sure you never feel like you’re on display or that it’s a huge awkward production of lights, light stands, and assistants everywhere. Ideally, it’s just you, me, my camera, and a few lenses.
Above all, I prioritize my couples and their experience. It truly warms my heart seeing couples in love, and I'm honored every time I get to be a part of a wedding day. If you're looking for a photographer who’s calm, deeply present, and focused on capturing the moments that matter most, I’d love to connect. Let’s tell your story in a meaningful way so it can be shared for generations.

What to Expect
Your wedding day is one of the biggest chapters of your story, and I’m here to make sure you can relive every moment – the laughter, the quiet glances, the energy of it all – through timeless photographs that authentically reflect you and your day. Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
1. A Personalized Experience – Every couple’s story is different, and your photos should reflect that. From our very first conversation to the final delivery, I take the time to get to know you – your style, your priorities, your vision.
2. Open, Easy Communication – You’ll never be left wondering what’s next. From your first message to your final gallery, I’m here with clear, prompt communication every step of the way. Before your wedding, we’ll map out your timeline, talk through the moments you want to be sure are captured, and cover any questions you have. That way, when your day comes, you can just focus on enjoying it.
3. A Relaxed, Natural Wedding Day – My goal is simple: to make you feel at ease. I’ll give a little direction when needed but mostly allow the day to unfold naturally, capturing the real, unscripted moments as they happen. I work hard on the wedding day to be more a part of your inner circle rather than a vendor. That allows for photos that show genuine emotion and real connection.
4. An Eye for the Little Things – Big moments matter, but so do the small ones. I’m intentional about capturing everything from the tiniest details to the candid interactions that make your day yours. Every piece of your story deserves to be remembered.
5. Timeless, True-to-Life Photos – After your wedding, I carefully curate and edit your images with a timeless style that feels natural and long-lasting. Your photos will outlast any fleeting trends and will still look beautiful years from now. You’ll receive an easy-to-use online gallery where you can order prints, and if you’d like the ultimate in wedding keepsakes, I’ll help you create a custom wedding album to treasure for decades.
6. A Thoughtful, Quick Turnaround – I know how excited you’ll be to see your images! I deliver full wedding galleries within 4 weeks, balancing careful attention to detail with a turnaround time that keeps you from waiting too long.
7. A Partner, Not Just a Photographer – Know that I’m here for you, before, during, and after the wedding. Need vendor recommendations? Timeline advice? Someone to calm the nerves before you walk down the aisle? I’m all in. I’m not just here to take pictures; I’m here to help make your wedding day the best it can possibly be.
