Maternity Session at Shaker Village

When Kandis contacted me and let me know she and Blake were expecting, I was sooooo happy for them! As a wedding photographer in Lexington, Kentucky, I truly loved photographing their wedding at Warrenwood Manor in Danville, and their maternity photography session at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg was equally beautiful, albeit in a different way. Photographing a wedding at Warrenwood Manor is all about the excitement of the day – after all, two people who are in love are committing the rest of their lives to each other! It’s such an honor to follow photographing a wedding with photographing a maternity session. These sessions, to me, are a bit slower and more introspective and really focus on connection.
